System requirements

On Microsoft Windows 11 and Linux (Red Hat EL8), the Simulation Scripting officially supports:

• Python 3.12.11 (64-bit)

• MATLAB: from R2021a to R2025a

• VBA: Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO 64-bit and 32-bit

A complete Python 3.12.11 (64-bit only) distribution is supplied within the Simcenter Amesim installation on all platforms, with, among others, the following packages:

• Numpy 1.26.4

• Scipy 1.15.2

• Matplotlib 3.9.2

• PySide 6.6.3.1
